The Case of Tammy Haas

Image
What happened to Tammy Haas?  Tammy Haas picture from Facebook          It's been a day but I wanted to get back to writing a post. I didn't know what to write so I sat here and thought about cases that could receive more attention besides just locally. This is a case that deserves more coverage everywhere because Tammy Haas deserves the justice that she never had gotten. Strap in for a little wild ride as we investigate the case of Tammy Haas.           Before continuing though, this article has no intention to create a fame on the suspect nor has the intention to create a mass talk about this family nor their daughter. This is an investigation based on evidence given prior to the trial and what is known today.          The girl who had a future          I personally didn't  know Haas but the way that people still care for her shows that all of her life, Tammy h...

The Nun that murdered because of love

Image
Marianna de Leyva y Marino                    What you are about to read will sound like a Shakespeare script where everything seems all and mighty between two lovers until tragedy strikes. This true crime story is nonetheless because of art and life will always mimic each other and this is not just the true story of love yet of the true tragedy that happened after.                                         In the year of 1557, Marianna de Leyva y Marino, came into existence. Growing up, her family was wealthy because they made tons of money from banking. After her mother passed, her father left her and had her aunt raise her eventually forgetting about her due to his job. The Bird Hex

Image
Despite us talking about this episode in the future on the podcast, I still wanted to write about it because this case still scares South Dakota. This is known as the Bird Hex.           Jake Bird was born in an unknown location in Louisiana. At the age of 19, Bird was forced to leave home and did what any other homeless person would do. In order to keep warm, he would stay in box cars. He would work for sleep and meals.  For work, he was a manual laborer and a railroad dancer that laid and maintained tracks. A thing to note about how Bird got away with his crimes was his job required him to travel. Other than what he did as work, he is known for his label as a serial killer. Even though there is a complete timeline, we need to go back to October 30th, 1947 and the trial that brought the Bird Hex.          In not just my personal opinion, b...

First glance at Friday's episode

Image
I typically won't give out hints or sneak peaks at episodes because I may not have had the episode pre-recorded or something can shovel the whole plan and I forget. Fortunately, since I pretty much put in one month's worth of episodes in a week, I want to give people at least the episode's details and what should be expected.      This episode will be released at 11:00 AM CT on all platforms. It's about a half and hour long, maybe a little more. It takes place in Hawaii and a serial killer is on the loose murdering young women in popular tourist sites like beaches and beach bars, etc.      Nearly all victims were dumped in the same area (s) and disappeared before being found dead in the same manner. This case may or may not have been solved but you can find that out on Friday's episode, 'The Honolulu Strangler'.       Btw, every Sunday, we release a weekly episode as well. After Dark Quickbits is an episode where we talk ab...

The Case of Serenity Dennard                     It's been two full years since 9 year old, Serenity Dennard ran away from Black Hill's Children's Home. Yet, it's been a long two years since she has been missing with no leads nor clues to find her. Despite the endless months of searching for Dennard, she seemed to disappear in thin air. This blog post is one that needed to be written because maybe someone, somewhere has the answers. Maybe if Serenity is still alive, she can see this.           In order for a person that has no idea about who she is or why this is such a big case that hasn't been solved yet, let's create a profile for Serenity. Keep in mind that some of these things are not to paint her in a bad picture but only to describe who she was as a person.           As stated above, at the time, she was a nine year old girl living in a home that specializes in ...

Image
Over the past week, I've planning out the next years worth of my podcast. This means what episodes go out, when they go out, how often and when should the next podcast series start. Trust me, it is a lot of work to do in a single week but I'm happy to announce that within the next year, several new series will start and what series will continue. Let's start with the new series! 1. The Post Mortem Files     The Post Mortem Files is a miniseries about how people have died and the life that they lived leading up to their death.
