I didn't know what to write so I sat here and thought about cases that could receive more attention besides just locally. This is a case that deserves more coverage everywhere because Tammy Haas deserves the justice that she never had gotten.              'The Honolulu Strangler' episode out now! 3 out of 5 young women who were victims of the Honolulu Killer              You've heard that right!             A brand new episode is out! 'The Honolulu Strangler' is takes place between May of 1985 and April of 1986 on the beaches and lagoons of Hawaii. Paradise ends when a serial killer murders, rapes, and bounds his victim's before throwing them on the beaches.                    Despite us talking about this episode in the future on the podcast, I still wanted to write about it because this case still scares South Dakota. This is known as the Bird Hex.           Jake Bird was born in an unknown location in Louisiana. At the age of 19, Bird was forced to leave home and did what any other homeless person would do. In order to keep warm, he would stay in box cars. He would work for sleep and meals.  For work, he was a manual laborer and a railroad dancer that laid and maintained tracks. A thing to note about how Bird got away with his crimes was his job required him to travel. Other than what he did as work, he is known for his label as a serial killer. Even though there is a complete timeline, we need to go back to October 30th, 1947 and the trial that brought the Bird Hex.          In not just my personal opinion, but many others that wrote about October 30th, it isn't stated in anything that I could find on why Bird did what he did. The Case of Serenity Dennard                     It's been two full years since 9 year old, Serenity Dennard ran away from Black Hill's Children's Home. Yet, it's been a long two years since she has been missing with no leads nor clues to find her. Despite the endless months of searching for Dennard, she seemed to disappear in thin air. This blog post is one that needed to be written because maybe someone, somewhere has the answers. Unlike other podcasts and people that does true crime, my podcast talks about the stories that nobody really talks about.
